The Local Medical Committee (LMC) is an elected body established through statute which represents the interests of local NHS GPs and their teams. London-wide LMCs is the umbrella body for 24 local medical committees across the capital of which Harrow LMC is one.
Harrow CCG Education Forum runs an extensive Education Programme for Harrow GPs: see the GP extranet website for details together with a video library of previous presentations.

- An easy-to use-email service based on Outlook Web Access
- Secure enough to exchange sensitive information, including patient identifiable information, with other NHSmail users
- Access the service via computer or mobile device, using a web browser or email programme (e.g. Outlook)
All GPs must be registered on the Performers List to work in Harrow. The national performers list is operated by NHS England and they provide an extra layer of reassurance for the public that GPs practicing in the NHS are suitably qualified, have up to date training, have appropriate English language skills and have passed other relevant checks such as with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the NHS Litigation Authority.

You can take your Smartcard with you from job to job. You only have one Smartcard, even if you work for more than one NHS organisation, or have more than one position in your organisation.
